ENTREPRISE GÉNÉRALE MALTA FORREST S.A.S. (EGMF) is a Congolese company based in Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Company is also represented by two offices in the cities of Kolwezi (DRC) and Kinshasa (DRC) and by a branch in Nairobi, Kenya.

The FORREST GROUP holds 100% of the shares of the Company.

In Kolwezi, as part of its sub-contracting mining work, Entreprise Générale Malta Forrest uses thelargest mining machinery in African sites, including trucks with a load capacity of 220 tonnes.



EGMF's areas of expertise cover several sectors, including Public Works, Civil Engineering, Building, Mining and Crushing.

Created in 1922 in Kolwezi (DRC), EGMF is the basis on which the companies and the diversification of the Group's activities have developed and been organised over the decades.

In 90 years of uninterrupted business in Central Africa, the company has become one of the oldest companies of the region, renowned for its expertise and the quality of its sites.


EGMF supports initiatives for the benefit of the local populations in various areas including education, health, infrastructure and sport. For example, the Company has carried out drinking water projects, the electrification of villages, the building of classrooms and medical facilities on numerous occasions.

EGMF is one of the main supporters of the FONDATION RACHEL FORREST.
